GKMI animates along side other Christian and non-Christian and publicities, Three days powerful radio programs every week as a way to bring the Gospel to the Nations over the frequencies of Kingdom Goodnews Radio (KGRadio).
The church organizes retreats in the MOUNT ZION RETREAT CENTER amongst its pastors, members, and other actors of the ministry to elevate the level of spiritual standing of participants, to draw closer to God and to obtain solutions which only taking a retreat can grant us access.
We also encourage members to participate in any of our retreats.
The founding President received the call to mission way back in 2001. At that time, she worked in the United Nations. So, she decided to quit her job and went to Buea to follow her calling. But later a Man of God came to tell her that God had sent him to tell her to go back to work. So she went back to work.
She worked until 2011 when I was ordained as a Pastor that she decided to fully start the Ministry we have today. We started in Lycée Biyemassi and later went to Tam Tam.
After operating for some years, we moved to our permanent site in Messebe, Nkolbisson in Yaounde, Cameroon.
When we came to Messebe, Nkolbisson, all our Church members and leaders except for one Pastors refused to leave Tam Tam to follow us to Messebe. The Church started in a wooden house as in the Photo.
Today we run a Radio Station, a retreat centre, a football academy for youth development, and a counselling centre.
